Work bar in wet hands to create lather, work the lather throughout hands and/or body. Rinse and dry with a clean towel and follow with moisturizer if needed. Allow soap to dry between uses.

Q: Is this soap 'tear-free'?

A: No, the 'tear-free' features seen in children's shampoo and soap products available today, is the result of a detergent based product vs a soap. 'Tear-free' is achieved by the product being the same pH level as tears: 7. Detergents are synthetically made products that can mimic soap qualities, various techniques are used to reach that pH 7, but often result in lower cleansing properties and very little bubbles. Natural soaps are made with natural ingredients and while the pH levels are completely safe (between 8-10 pH), it isn't possible to get a level low enough to be considered 'tear-free'.

Q: What do you mean by "Hint of Lavender"?

A: We use less than half of the essential oil that we would in our other soap recipes. Doing this results in a nice light scent that doesn't overpower. If you prefer no scent, just choose the unscented option!
