Uff Da

According to Wikipedia (and most Minnesotans), Uff Da is an exclamation or interjection used to express dismay, typically upon hearing bad news...

Uff da... What is happening right now in the United States is not normal.

The current administration has fallen far short of its promises to "Make America Great Again" and instead is putting profits for millionaires and billionaires first, while gutting our healthcare, social services and putting our national security at risk.

  • They are trying to dissolve the rights of our friends, neighbors and family members who identify as LGBTQIA+ or have disabilities.
  • Women are at risk of losing access to basic health care.
  • We are losing the protections of our treasured lands, clean water and air.
  • Farmers and veterans are losing access to programs and safety nets our government previously promised them.
  • We are being denied access to scientific knowledge, education and even the ability to practice free speech... Just to name a few.

What they are doing is causing real harm. Together we can stand up, resist and help bring sanity, respect and dignity back to our government.

So what can a little woman-owned soap company do?

We can help support the resistance the only way we know how - by speaking up, AND reminding you that self care (yes even now) can help you maintain your fight for the long haul. Oh and by sending the proceeds from the items on this page to a non-profit organization that is helping to activate folks across the country.

Introducing our Uff Da line!

We think you will agree that all the products in this line will help inspire resistance. The scent for all of these is the same. it is a bit complicated, much like the times we are in, but it is fresh and full of hope!

The sweet lavender helps remind you to take a moment to breathe and take care of yourself, we need you! We added the deep woodsy scent of cedarwood as an acknowledgment of the many National Parks and wild spaces that are currently at risk. Looking back to our past and a time of dissent and protest, we brought the patchouli. Finally just a hint of cinnamon for a bit of spice… stay strong friends.
